Joined the Fire Department to follow in his Grandfathers and Fathers (Jim Worrell) footsteps.
Previously held positions as Driver/Operator 1970- 2014, 312 Lt. 1982-1984, Asst. Fire Marshal 1984-2007, Dept. Fire Prevention Chairmen 1983- 2014. Dept. Career, Chief Fire Inspector 1989- 2007, Chief Fire Marshal/ Fire Official 2007- 2015.Relief Eng. Co. Secretary 1978-1983, 312 President 1984-‘86312 Life Member 1996, Life Member NJ State Firemen’s Assoc.1986, Life Member Moorestown First-Aid Sq., Life Member & Past President Burlington Co. Firemen’s Assoc. & Burl Co. Fire Marshal’s Assoc.
In Addition to developing and implementing the Fire Prevention program in Moorestown Bob saved the life of a 2 year old using mouth-to-mouth resuscitation in 1967.

Joined the Fire Department to give back to the community. Was the first Junior member to turn Active in the Department

Previously held positions as Lieutenant, as well as Presedent and Treasurer of Relief Engine Compnay.
1996 Moorestown Citizen of the Year- Due largely to work within and on behalf of the Moorestown Fire Department
